Ischemic Polareardiographic Changes Induced By Exercise A New Criterion
نویسندگان
چکیده
The polarcardiographic responses to exercise in normal men, young and middle-aged, have been compared with those of men who show ischemic responses on the electrocardiogram. Changes in the ST-vectors are the most significant. These changes have been reduced to a single numerical quantity based on the spatial magnitude of the vector at the end of the QRS complex and the spatial direction of a vector occurring at a clearly specified time during the period of the ST-segment. The assets of polarcardiography are that it enables study of direction and nwgnitude of ST-vectors in a time sequence. Thus it provides information of clinical importance which cannot be obtained by either electroor vectorcardiography.

متن کاملNeuroprotective Effects of Exercise on Brain Edema and Neurological Movement Disorders Following the Cerebral Ischemia and Reperfusion in Rats
Introduction: Cerebral ischemia and reperfusion causes physiological and biochemical changes in the neuronal cells that will eventually lead to cell damage. Evidence indicates that exercise reduces the ischemia and reperfusion-induced brain damages in animal models of stroke. In the present study, the effect of exercise preconditioning on brain edema and neurological movement disorders followin...
متن کاملExercise preconditioning: review
It is estimated that by 2035, more than 130 million adults will suffer from various types of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, it is very important to know the pathogens of cardiac diseases and investigate new treatments. Also, despite continuous progress in diagnosis, patient education, and risk factor management, myocardial infarction (MI) remains one of the most common causes of morbidity,...
